h o w a m i ?

so in 2 days, it'd be 2weeks since i went through that mannequin exam.
and.. i still haven't gotten any call for a final interview or job offer.

if it would have been just as 5 up for that position,
i am about 70-80% sure they would have called me days ago.
bu t i guess there are other out there who had more credentials in "fashion" or "styling"..

it's too bad though.
i was really interested in the position.
i am 101% sure i would've done if not better, but just as good as others

who have more fashion background.

anyway~ it sucks.. big time (m'not gonna lie)
but just like what jerome just told me, "it's part of life"

so i guess, to answer that question (in the title),
i am not okay. but i'll be okay.

i have no choice but to bounce back
and send out my cv to my saved applications..

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

and with that, i also want to state that..
i have been thinking of having another blog solely for my artworks.
i have been meaning to for the past years..
but at that time.. i didn't know completely who i am.
what i really love. what i want to do
and now.. well, i guess..i can say that..
i know who i am.

so yea.. i'll be creating a new blog. linked to this.
i just am thinking of a title and well, a good url for it.
so that's it.

c o n f l i c t

when you realize that the life you want to have
seem somewhat ambitious..

and it scares you
but you don't want to settle.

and no. it's not about money.

the m a n n e q u i n exam

you know what is the most difficult part o
 a MANNEQUIN EXAM?

it was the fact that you have
to overcome yer FEAR of MANNEQUINS
for a very short period of time to be able to work with them!

so anyway,
there were five (5) applicants.
there were 3 parts of the exam itself
and it took us 3 and a half hours to finish.

----------

1st part:
how we see / how well do we know a Forever21 girl

2nd part:
70's & FALL inspired

3rd part:
modern FALL (laid back & chic)

----------

m'not much of a fashion illustrator.
and the styles i came up with looked soooo much better in person.

anyway.
IT WAS SUCH A FUN experience!
 (and tiring..but mostly fun)

afterwards, we had a couple of minutes to return back everything
we took from the store (THAT. was tiring)
but it's a good thing i have a good pictographic memory
so i was able to return the clothes back to where it was from.

after that,
we were interviewed one by one.
it was a panel interview, there were four (4) of them.
and i was the last one.

i was HUNGRY.
(and that was in the first sentence i said to them after i sat down)
" you did a very good job in styling the mannequin "
(that was in the first sentence the district head told me)

it was a whole different experience
compared to how the other applicants shared theirs.
from my perspective, it went really good!
so i was expecting that in a few days,
i'll be receiving a call.

----------

5 days later,
there's still NONE.

i guess i need more waiting.

07 September 2015

stuff to do before september ends

my sister told me i need to study & learn adobe aftereffects
my good friend, elli, said, i should relearn web design

but i have these 2 painting things coming up for this month.
so along with job applications, i have to do it.
FOR MYSELF.

i did find my web design book
(from way back in highschool)
and i am currently reading it.
(gooosh. i knew this then by heart)

anyway.
wrap up.
i'll update you when something exciting happens :3
laters blog.
