every time i try to recall of events in my life that happened because of my sheer stupidity,
one of the memories that i remember most is that of my JP and a spider~
"it was an early weekend morning and i decided to do my laundry first.
so i rose, grabbed my soiled clothes from the rack and slid JP
(my all-time Jurassic Phone; now you know where JP came from)
in my left-breast pocket as i went to the laundry area.
i turned on the faucet and watched the water slowly filling the tub--
i was gazing at it for a time when i saw a helpless spider caught in the current.
kind as i am, i dove in and reached for it with my hand.
how reckless was i--that i chose to save the spider over JP
when it accidentally fell from my pocket into the tub.
and to my dismay, the spider was already dead.
i was flabbergasted (*word--1st heard from twinx. 1st used here. meaning: dumbfounded)
i realized i should save JP quickly before it gets short.curcuit or something.
& i was able to save him just right in time *whew*"
but you know, i learned something--
something deeper than check the spider if it's still alive before you try to save it
i learned something more..although i realized it a little later,
i guess i'll just share it for others to reflect on..
sometimes, we care for some people too much, that we are blinded~
we tend to overlook that they are indeed taking us for granted.
but y'know what, we can't blame them if they don't feel as much as we do for them..
we just have to realize on our own that ..THEY ARE NOT WORTH IT.
so don't go pretending like your some superhero
who tries to save & help everyone (let alone the world),
while they don't even bother to know who you are behind that mask.
sometimes, you just have to be there and save yourself and let them be~
I LEARNED THAT THE HARD WAY. (multiplied by infinity)
